This dataset was collected as part of the Environmental Impact Assessment conducted on behave of Golden Veruleum Liberia Oil Palm Company in Grand Kru county in southeastern Liberia by Green Consultancy (Greencons). The data was collected over a period of 4 days using line transects across the areas of interest for the company for their oil palm plantation establishment.

The project seeks to build the capacity of Liberian biodiversity data collectors, academic institutions, government agencies and other stakeholders to mobilize, process and conserve Liberia’s biodiversity data in standard data sharing formats (Darwin Core) to be published and accessed by national and international data users.
